If you still have problems with the drivers, try using Zadig for XP: - make sure to install the libusb-win32. Also install the filter "install-filter.exe" and test of the driver was installed with "testlibusb-win.exe". If pointing to the folder doesn't work, point to "avrisp2.inf".
